Pudge (Nike), Carlos Beltran (Nike spikes), Placido Polanco (Reebok), Luis Castillo (Nike), Javier Vazquez (does anyone care). Comment: Easy research. Me and my friends study sports mgmt in college and part of our assignment is to study the sports equipment market. I personally like to follow up and coming brands like Akadema was a few years back. Always got a kick out of Verdero. They have the look of a company built on backers and slackers. Come in with marketing $ and pretend to be big. But you probably already know this since you work there! |

You are correct that the original list is not fact and just opinion. You are also very informed to know that Akadema makes quality gloves and batting gloves, not debatable. Of course, like your original research, it's missing facts. $10 shoes are closeouts and what retailer (ala Walmart, lands end, Nike, adidias, etc) hasn't tried to pass along savings on products (ie apparel) in such a tough economy? You must be one of those guys who talked about how much your shirt cost when in HS...cool, you paid more.
In the future you might want to look for great prices on quality products. It might get you out of renting your parents basement. hahahhhaaaaaha! |
