13th and Boxing Hideout seem to hate each other. Why? Because many people voluntarily left 13th due to much in-fighting and hostility. They are now wary of the forum that promised so much, yet gave so little. But the numbers here at Hideout and forum activity is very low, almost a wasteland. Not very worthy.

good site. they won't ban you unless you are a racist. if you don't like a certain fighter or fighters, you can feel free to express it without getting banned a la the 13th round. i think only a total of 1 poster has been banned so far. very knowledgeable posters and good atmosphere. best boxing message board on this list hands down.

This messageboard isn't as fancy as the others, but it's served my purpose just fine the last few years, I don't need to belong to a boy's club, just a place to shoot the shit about boxing, upcoming fights and their results.
It's a decent forum, but many casual observers make this a forum for the un-initiated. Mostly speaks on the big matchups and doesn't go in-depth very much.

BoxingScene is the number 1 boxing resource on the internet for a variety of reasons. Firstly it has a large collection of top level journalists reporting on boxing news at it happens.
Secondly it's forum plays host to a huge number of boxing fans, a lot of current and ex pros fighters post on there also (including a lot of big stars).
Thirdly it uses modern forum script that has lots of innovative features, when compared to some of the bland and down right boring interface of sites like ESB and Saddo Boxing.
Fourthly and probably most importantly, Boxing Scene allows you to express your opinion freely, moderators are fair and provided you stick to the rules you are allowed say what you like. Unlike ESB in which the moderators pride themselves on banning any user that has opinion they are in dissagreement with, but ESB's flaw is BS's advantage and many new and old users of ESB have recently found themselves making the jump to BS.
Top level journalists?? Are you serious?? Boxingscene writers are as dumb as my wife. This site is all about e-money, karma, and getting attention. I've never seen a site with more attention whores then Boxingscene.

Boxing scene forum is the most racist website ever. I could not read that garbage anymore. There are posters who post links to white racist websites and don’t condemn it also there are black supremacists. The Asian and Mexican posters don’t get along very well. Racist comments and thread are seen as a norm. The lounge is pretty shocking the hate towards end other of difference race is crazy. There are a few good poster but they are heavily outweighed by racist and nuthuggers. Poorly moderated forum one of the worst
After reviewing all the boxing forums, I recommend that you stay far away from all of these sites. Unless you're 15, and been watching boxing for the last 2 years, then I recommend all of these site.
To be fair, kids dominate every other forums too. Forums are for kids, and majority are moderated by little sensitive kids. Anyone over 30, should find something better during work hours, you can always check the forums, cause most are hilarious, just don't participate in them.
Top forum for minute to minute updates, there seems to be hundreds of people on at the same time. Something for everyone, and one of the best on the net even though the main page itself is very very weak and uninformative.
Another bad site, finding a good boxing forum is not an easy job. We need a mature forum, with a mature moderating team, freedom of speech is also nice to have. I can't recommend this site to anyone, even the KKK Boxingscene forum is better.

They've built an impressive, professional, boxing website at TTR, congrats to those guys who worked hard to make it possible, some who I still consider friends (you know who you are ;) )
It's an alright website for boxing, but the home page and forum are very low-tech. There seems to be a small decent community that shuns any outsiders. Many arguments seem to turn personal or are squashed quickly, leaving no room for proper arguments or reasoning. Not the best, but no the worst either. I would be better if they had more people to talk to.
I agree with everything cottomargarito said. I jioned but have not posted. They DO pick on new posters. Banning is common.They have an area called the "PIT". Its a bitch session there. Gang up on certain posters. Terrible site IMO
