If you're ever bored, go to DanPatrick.com and check out the "On Demand/Podcasts" section. You will not be disappointed as Dan is on point with his interviews and humor. I listen to his show everyday in my cubicle (and am right now). GOAT.
Van Peezy has a pretty good hour on ESPN Radio. A pitiful phone message that he left on some chick-he-met-at-the-beach's answering machine found its way to the net and more specifically, Deadspin. While that may be humiliating to some, he refers to it in a self-deprecating way quite often, which I think is cool.
Here you are. First link in the story on this page: http://deadspin.com/sports/top/scott-van-pelt-has-a-way-with-the-ladies-192853.php Check out the last link in the story for some of Mike Tirico's Sex Harassment stories and a mention of Gary Miller shaving his ass parties! I bought the book these excerpts were taken from since it wasn't at the Urbandale Library. Book is OK, definitely worth a read.
Again, Dan Patrick does a good Kilborn impersonation and has told some funny stories about him on the DP Show. He says the way Kilby acts and talks on camera is exactly the way he is in real life. I DID like the segment on Kilby's Late Late Show about ruining the ending to recently released movies: "The Sixth Sense? Bruce Willis is dead!" He got in trouble for that.
Egomaniac but funny. Dan Patrick also does a good Olbermann (in good taste since they're still good buds), poking fun at how liberal he is. Deep KO voice: "Uhhh DP, did you hear what Sarah Palin said LAST night? Watch my editorial comment tonight for my thoughts..."
Past his prime. Does anyone enjoy his names anymore or his "back back back" thing? I find him annoying when he does home run derbys and I pretty much hate all NFL pregame shows but I do miss NFL Primetime.
