My Lyrics Finder

Simple and uncluttered, MLFinder delivers quick results from its database of lyric sites. The search reminded me of Google in its simplicity. After finding your song you are given the opportunity to buy lyrics, posters and sending the lyrics to a friend. NOTE: Every time I look at the logo I think "MILF Finder"...!

A to Z Lyrics Universe

|
A to Z Lyrics Universe features a ton of searchable song lyrics. You can browse by artist or band name in their alphabetical directory, or you can just type in a lyric to find the song. I liked the ability to see immediately what is hot and fresh in the latest site news section.

SongMe

Songme.com offered a decent collection of mostly older lyrics. I was not impressed with it's old look and lack of new songs. I did like how the site arranged lyrics by album.

Lyrics Spot

Lyrics Spot not only has a sizable database (1,000,000+) of lyrics. I loved how you can search and view by CD cover images of whatever artist you're looking for. Search by artist, album or song, browse the alphabetical directory, check out Lyrics Spot's top songs, or check out the Billboard Top 12 albums, with links to song lyrics.

Has one of the better interfaces and domain names. I was really impressed with the size of the database and the ability to actually play songs along with the lyrics...pretty cool! I could go without the in your face advertising. But overall one of the best sites reviewed!

Having a great domain name helps! The site is more graphical than many of the others. But it plays well as many of the lyrics are organized by albums. I could go without all the advertising, but I found the site to be one of the best!

The thing I like most about Lyrics Robot is their absolutely huge artist directory. The logo and pop-up advertising definitely have to go. And I was not impressed by the lack of newer songs.

I was able to find good results with my search for what the world needs now, but the site seems to be more of a front for other lyric sites than anything.

MetroLyrics

MetroLyrics features a great selection of songs. I really liked the This Weeks Most Popular Song Lyrics section and Featured Albums. I hate how this and other sites have a popup ad when you click the search bar. Very annoying.

Rock Wisdom

|
Rock Wisdom features an immense database of song quotes-"the main purpose of this collection of quotes from Rock and Roll music is to celebrate and provide a documented reference to an under appreciated form of literature." As it states this is mostly from older singers and groups. It doesn't look like the site has been updated in some time.
