I just wanna know what everyone used to play before X-Box came in and took over. I love these old systems so much. ^_^ Ya never know what you have till it's gone, do ya?
PlayStation made a gamer out of me, and I know a lot of you have the same story. Weren't those days great, back when PlayStation was awesome without question?
I was always a HUGE Nintendo fanboy, it will always have my heart. But I remember buying the PlayStation the first day it came out. It got a lot of use, but never got the love the Nintendo had.
As with the other systems Sega put out, the main problem was the games weren't very fun. I bought this system very soon after it was released and loved the fact that it was color. But, I couldn't find any games that were fun for more than 5 minutes.
Nintendo actually made this ahead of the curve video game console. If they could have only figured out a way to play these games without sticking your head onto what looks to be binoculars it may have been a hit! At least they gave it the old college try and spent millions of dollars developing this console.
I really loved the virtual boy because everything looked 3D. The tennis game that was included with it was really awesome. There were two major problems with this system which I attribute to it's death. First, the screen was entirely red which makes games a little less interesting. Second, I got a bad headache everytime I played...which I guess was the norm for everyone.
