Balut

Balut is considered a delicacy in the Philippines. It is a fertilized duck egg with a mostly developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. The first thing to do when you eat a balut is sip out the broth that surrounds the embryo. Then you munch down the yolk and the baby chick. Disgusting!!!

Not too horrible, if cooked. Hopefully, poison terminates with heating :)
