I don't add items too often, but IMHO there's no contest here! 75 years of providing entertainment to the world. Great service to our country...consistently giving USO shows throughout his career to armed forces overseas. He was awarded the "Congressional Gold Medal" by JFK for his service. The quickest wit in the business...he hosted the Oscars 18 times...and when he stopped hosting in 1968, the Academy was so lost, they didn't have a host for 3 years :-)

I know he has not as well known as the others, but he's easily the funniest comedian I've seen in person. Check out his stuff on YouTube.

Other comedians may hate on him, but he really is hilarious.

If this is what passes for "funny" in the twenty-first century, then we are very near the end of American civilization as we know it! He stinks.
