Scouts Honor Red, 2005. $36.00
91 points and two stars from the Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines: "68% Zinfandel; 17% Charbono; 15% Petite Sirah. Abundant, decidedly creamy oak sits atop deep, slightly jammy raspberry-like elements throughout the length of this full-bodied effort, but for all of its considerable size, the wine sports uncommonly fine balance and shows a certain sense of polish that belies its undisguised ripeness. Its fruit shines through at the finish just as much as it does at the start, and, while its bias to red berries is not the stuff of classic Zinfandel, it is a rich and flavorful choice for savory pork dishes." (January 2008)

Maintaining our tradition for excellence with our Estate Viognier, this wine fills the senses with its aromatic bouquet of apricots, peaches, jasmine, honeysuckle and a hint of violets. The palate is drenched in subtropical fruit with just enough acid to balance the clean finish.

Grenache Blanc Celadon, 2006. $20.00
Celadon—our exciting new Grenache Blanc, was first released in August of 2003. Topanga Vineyards may be the only winery producing Grenache Blanc in California. The fruit is from Esperanza Vineyard in Clarksburg, California. Only 150 cases of this wine have been produced. It was made under the guidance of Larry Brooks. The wine was fermented in neutral barrels, with lees stirring. It is very rich and viscous in the mouth, with peach aromatics.

Cabernet Sauvignon, 2004. $40.00
This is a luscious fruit bomb, with hints of chocolate, lots of black cherries, violets and cassis. It isn’t the overly-extracted Cabernet from California—this is elegant, classy and very food friendly. It has balance and a heft from the tannins, but not an in-your-face, overly oaked drink. The wine spent 24 months in barrel and three extra months in the oak blending tank. The Vineyards: Bacchus (Sagemoor Farms), Block 9 Cab Sauvignon. 40 % Merlot 4%; Champoux, Block 2 Cab Sauvignon. 11 %; Katherine Leone (Milbrandt), Cab Sauvignon. 30 %; Wallula, Block 10 Cab Sauvignon. 10 %; Weinbau (Sagemoor Farms) Block 13 Cab Franc 5 %.

Old Hill Zinfandel, 2005. $32.00
90 Points - Connoisseurs Guide to Wine
"There is more ripeness here than we generally like, but this wine gets high praise nonetheless because it has solid, not quite juicy fruit at its heart, and it boasts genuine complexity in its berryish, black walnut, lightly jammy aromas and flavors. It is certainly a weighty wine on the palate, yet it makes good use of balancing acidity and supportive tannins in avoiding a tendency to sprawl. Instead, it winds up as a big, decently focused effort whose best uses with food might be with nuts and cheeses or as a mate to an old-fashioned mutton chop."
